WEBCAST NEWS: Webinars, Infocasts Get Their Second Wind
Webcasts score high in 2008 with top B2B decision-makers, new survey reveals.
from AICPA Custom Media Solutions

According to BtoB Magazine's 2008 Marketing Priorities and Plans survey, four in five (79.1%) marketers are planning to boost their online budgets next year. The good news is that Webcasting has gone up from 8.8 percent in 2007 to a whopping 39.1 percent of total marketing dollars spent online in 2008. And sponsorship (of which Webcasting is one channel) has gone up from 5.5 percent of total marketing-spend in 2007 to 29.6 percent in 2008.

What Webcast Sponsorship Means to You?

Branding, branding, branding … did I say branding? For every AICPA Webcast you sponsor, you’ll receive approximately two million pre-event marketing impressions. Your logo will be highlighted on-screen throughout the two-hour Webcast, as well as during viewer polls and the sponsor’s exclusive five-minute product presentation.

In addition, you’ll be able to spread your message live to interested prospects who have pre-registered specifically for the event. There is also a residual effect as archived Webcasts are re-visited by attendees as well as new inquisitive viewers.

“SAP is pleased to be associated with and sponsor the AICPA-produced Webcasts,” said Steve Ernst, Director, CPA Advisor Programs for SAP Americas. “They have consistently included solid and timely content that is of interest to CPAs in public practice and in the private sector,” he added.

If you have a topic suggestion for an upcoming Webcast and are interested in developing custom topics, contact John Hudson or Hank Berkowitz.
