WEBCAST NEWS: AICPA Produces Bountiful on Surviving Economic Recession
Live events will also feature updates on SEC and IFRS.
from AICPA Custom Media Solutions

Have you tuned in to an AICPA live Webcast lately? If not, you’re missing out on great marketing opportunities as we provide sponsors with two uninterrupted hours of dialog with top-level financial decision-makers at 300 to 1,000-plus firms and organizations.

“Beginning the end of May and especially into June, we’re getting into high gear with our Webcasts,” said John Hudson, CPA, and the moderator for most AICPA Webcasts. “This is the time when CPAs are very involved in their professional development, so we’re putting a lot of offerings out there.”

The AICPA will continue to bring readers the always popular SEC Quarterly Update, IFRS Quarterly Update, “Surviving the Economic Crisis” Series, a couple of broadcasts in our Risk Alert Series, plus several others. “This time of year is always very busy when it comes to Web broadcasting and it’s a great time for sponsors to get their brands out there,” quipped Hudson.

Sponsors receive an average of two million marketing impressions prior to the event. The sponsor’s logo is featured on-screen throughout the two-hour Webcast, including the real time viewer poll and the sponsor’s exclusive five-minute case study or product presentation.

When asked why he robbed banks, the infamous bank robber, Willy Sutton, once said “because that’s where the cash is.” It’s hard to argue with that reasoning.

Similarly, we’re always asked why we broadcast so many Webcasts in the May/June time frame. The answer is simple: that’s when the CPAs are asking for it.

And that’s why sponsors who want to get their brand in front of CPAs should be looking at this period to do so. The CPAs are definitely there. The sponsors should be there too.
