JofA NEWS: Special Advertising Supplements Coming on SoHo and Financial Advisory Services
New staffers added in key roles.

AICPA’s flagship publication, Journal of Accountancy, is readying two niche advertising supplements just for you. In December, back by popular demand, we’re bringing a supplement focusing on CPA’s impact on the Small Office/Home Office, while in January with we are bringing you chock-full of information on CPA opportunities in financial advisory services. More than 30 percent of CPAs are offering — or soon planning to offer financial and retirement planning services to their clients. Make sure your brand is top of mind.

Special supplements include space for a top exec from each sponsor to participate in the Executive Roundtable discussions on SoHo and financial services. Bonus distribution.

New Faces

AICPA’s Direct Sales Team is pleased to announce the addition of Account Executive Collene Ellenberger, who will be covering both the Northeast and Midwest regions. She is looking forward to meeting all of you in her territory and to help you build your plan for the coming year. Many of you may already know Collene from her tenure at Source Media (formerly Accountants Media Group) and she brings a wealth of experience and ideas for reaching CPAs through our media channels. She can be reached at cellenberger@aicpa.org or 201-938-3691.

The Journal of Accountancy is also proud to welcome Joanne Fiore, the new Editor-in-Chief. “Joanne will have a daunting task filling the shoes of Colleen Katz when we move to Durham, North Carolina in February 2007,” said Tom Greve, AICPA National Sales Director. “Please be certain that we will continue to deliver the high quality of editorial content you have been accustomed to over the years. We may even have a few surprises for you in the next few months!” he added.

Advertising your message in the Journal of Accountancy enables recognition of the brand supporting your sales team as they make the necessary calls to your prospects.

“Our weekly e-publication, the CPA Insider™ celebrates its five year anniversary this month,” noted Greve. “In a relatively short time, the CPA Insider™ has become the world’s most widely read weekly online publication for CPAs and has grown to more than 175,000 weekly readers with opt-out rates below one percent,” he said.
