IRS to Sponsor 2005 AICPA Live Webcasts on SEC Updates
CFO Roundtable added in February to address FASB Rule 123 on stock options.

A prominent FASB expert on stock options (name withheld for now) has agreed to join the panel of the AICPA’s Feb. 23^rd CFO Roundtable live Webcast, according to moderator John Hudson, CPA. “It should be a dynamite panel on the tricky treatment of stock option compensation,” added Hudson, hinting that a title sponsor has not yet stepped forward for this just announced Webcast.

The Internal Revenue Service, meanwhile, has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the SEC Quarterly Update Webcasts on June 22^nd and September 23^rd. “The SEC Quarterly Update Series and CFO Roundtable Series are by far the most popular subscription series we have,” noted Hudson, as the reach CPAs in both industry and public practice who are ardently trying to keep up with the regulatory demands of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
