Advertising Up 61-Percent in October
Sprint, ADP, Intuit Master Builder, Hyland Software, Hostway/Registry
Pro and Business Software Alliance join as AICPA digital advertising
clients.

The AICPA’s
Insider E-Newsletter group posted a 61-percent spike in net advertising
revenue for October 2004 vs. October 2003. Most clients are running
our “gold package” – a regular combination of
banners, text links and sponsored editorial, notes National Account
Manager, Kurt Weber, who works
closely with SAP, Advanced Settlements, Tax Analysts, Tax Talk Today
and AccountStreet among other regular digital media clients.
The AICPA’s
Insider newsletter group includes the flagship CPA
Insider (165,000 weekly circ.), the CPA
Tax Insider (50,000 bi-weekly) and the monthly CPA
Career Insider (72,000 circ).
”It’s
clear from our sales force that digital advertising has evolved
from curiosity, to experiment, to core part of the B2B marketing
mix,” said AICPA Sales Director, Tom
Greve. “We’re seeing equal adoption by our Fortune
100 clients and our niche CPA vendors, both for branding building
and direct response.”
Clients find
that digital advertising is highly measurable, easy to plan, execute
and assess, according to Greve. “We’re finding the digital
newsletters a valuable addition to our magazines, conferences, Webcasts
and professional training offerings.”
