Teams with AICPA E-Newsletters (Jersey City, NJ, July 26, 2004) – AICPA and SAP, a global leader in business software solutions, announced today the creation of “CPA Technology Corner” a new special section in CPA Insider, the AICPA’s 160,000-circulation weekly membership e-newsletter. The new section, to appear on the second week of each month starting August 9, will focus on business process management and technology issues for small to medium-size businesses. As part of the agreement, SAP will be the exclusive supplier of editorial commentary and research in the once-a-month section. “SAP’s sponsorship of the new CPA Technology Corner in the CPA Insider e-newsletter breaks new ground for all of our advertising clients looking to increase their presence and influence within the CPA community,” said Kurt Weber, national account manager, AICPA. “We’re looking for additional partners in the areas of financial services, career services or any other market sector seeking deeper reach into the CPA Profession,” added Weber. Many people are surprised to learn that over 60-percent of SAP installations are in small to mid-size companies, noted Steve Ernst, CPA, who has been tasked by SAP to develop new alliances for SAP’s Business One Solution. “We know how influential CPAs are in the small to mid-size business sector. The AICPA is obviously a natural starting point for us.” |
